General Conditions of Bicycle Rental
1. Rental procedure
1.1 Bicycle rental is available subject to availability of bikes at the time of request.
1.2 Bikes are rented on a “first come, first served” basis.
2. Pricing
2.1 Rental rates are displayed at the rental location and are based on the rental period.
2.2 Full payment is due upon return of rental. The rates include [basket, helmet, lock, etc.].
2.3 Method of payment for the service. The payment methods accepted by annecycle are: following: bank cards, cash, transfers, and cheques.
Payment of the rental cost is made in full at time of return of the bicycle(s). The applicable rates are depending on the duration of the bike rental. Prices are indicated on site.
3. Rental Duration
3.1 The rental period begins from the moment the customer takes possession of the bicycle and ends on the date and time of return agreed upon.
3.2 Additional charges may apply in the event of late returns.
4. Deposit
4.1 A deposit may be required at the time of rental for cover possible damage or theft. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the bicycle in good condition.
5. Responsible Use
5.1 The customer commits to using the bicycle responsibly, complies with local laws.
5.2 Any improper use may result in the confiscation of the bicycle and the rental will be payable.
6. Customer Responsibility
6.1 The customer is responsible for the rented bicycle for the entire duration of location. Any damage or theft occurring during this period will be billed to the customer.
7. Bicycle Maintenance
7.1The customer is required to use the bicycle normally when rented. Repair costs resulting from customer negligence will be his responsibility.
8. Restitution
8.1 The customer commits to the return of the bicycle on the date and time agreed upon during the rental.
9. Loss or Theft
9.1 In the event of loss or theft of the rented bicycle, the customer must immediately inform the owner. The customer will be responsible for total cost of replacing the bike.
The client is personally responsible for any damage, theft or loss of rented leisure equipment and its accessories (including helmets, locks, bags, etc.). The Damage/loss fees are payable after the return of the rental equipment. Clients are liable for the full cost replacement if rental equipment is lost or stolen.
Replacement cost:
Electra classic bike (city bike) €500 incl. tax
Classic adult bike (vtc) Scott: €700 incl. tax
Adult electric bike: €2,160 incl. tax
10. Weather
10.1 In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the lessor reserves the right to suspend or cancel the rental.
11. Responsibility of the Lessor
11.1 The lessor cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries or property damage occurring while using the rented bikes.
12. Modification of the Conditions
12.1 The lessor reserves the right to modify these general conditions at any time. The new conditions will be published and will take effect immediately.
13. Mediator
In accordance with article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code, the consumer, subject to article L.612.2 of the code of consumption, has the option of submitting a request for amicable resolution by means of mediation, within a period of less than one year from its written complaint to the professional.
ANNECYCLE has designated, by registration registered under number
53047/VM/2405 SAS Médiation Solution as a management entity mediation of consumption.
To contact the mediator, the consumer must make their request:

- Either by completing the online form entitled “Refer to the mediator” on the website https://www.sasmediationsolution-conso.fr
hatever the means of referral used, the request must imperatively contain :
- The postal, telephone and electronic contact details of the applicant,
- Name, address and registration number at Sas Médiation Solution, from the professional concerned,
- A brief statement of the facts,
- Copy of the prior complaint,
- All documents allowing the processing of the request (voucher order, invoice, proof of payment, etc.).
14. General information
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children under 12 years. The use of a baby seat is authorized from one year of age. You cannot carry a passenger other than a child below age on the sole condition that an approved seat is installed. VTCs cannot support a load greater than 110kg, and 100kg for electric bikes.
